いきなりブログの趣旨を否定するような内容になりますが、子供のころは旅行があまり好きではありませんでした。
To start with a bit of a surprise—considering this is a travel blog—I didn’t actually like traveling when I was a child.
両親に連れられて観光地を回るのが、子供心には退屈だったんですよね。

それから時が経ち、社会人になり……1人の時間ができるようになりました。そうすると不思議なことに、今度は近場じゃ退屈に感じるようになってきました。
Time passed, I entered the workforce, and I finally had time to myself. Strangely enough, I started finding my immediate surroundings a bit too quiet and began craving something more.
そんな中ある帰省中、ふと「寄り道しながら（一人暮らししている家に）戻ろう」と思い立ちました。
古のオタクということもあり、聖地巡礼にあこがれていたのもあると思います。
そうして日本各地を旅するようになりました。

Being an old-school otaku, I think I always had a longing for “Seichi Junrei” (pilgrimages to anime or manga locations).
That’s how I started traveling all over Japan.
自分語りが長くなりましたが、このブログではその時の思い出や最近行ったところを写真と一緒に残していければと思います。
